Bereavement is a period of mourning and grief after a loss. Pet Loss can be just as emotionally traumatic to an owner as losing their own human family members. After all, our pets are part of the family. We encourage you to take the time to grieve and recover. It is important that you realize that what you are experiencing is a normal, natural and expected response to the loss of your pet.

“One day we will remember how lucky we were to have known their love, with wonder, not grief.”

— Elizabeth Postle
